Looking to use it on a pulled pork Boston or picnic roast. Has anyone used that dry rub before? Any feedback or comments would be appreciated!

Yep. It's ok. I liked it but haven't used it in a while.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX

Review is in: Firmly in the 'meh' category. If you have any other type of rub to use, including making your own, i would use that first. Might be good for a food storage item. It has MSG, so the pork was even saltier than normal. I probably won't use it again.

Good to know acrash, I like the honest reviews. I almost picked some up at an Ace store that caries the BGE products, but thought better of it. Glad I did now. I do like BGE Green Pecan, and Sweet Maple though.

I used on it all on some pulled pork I made for a friend; it's way too salty for me. I used it on ribs once and that was a mistake.

Sounds about right. It's been 6-7 years since I used it. I remeber it being ok but I did like the pecan better. Since I discovered Dizzy, they both went out the window.Keepin' It Weird in The ATX FBTX
