APL'S Chicken Wings
Options
Ross in Ventura
Posts: 7,234
The marinade: 1 T salt, pepper, worcestershire sauce, red wine vinegar, and hot pepper sauce.
Apple wood for smoke.
Out of the fridge after 3-hrs.
On the grid indirect @ 300* for 1-hr.
Razing the Temp to 400*
Made a sauce of 1 C sweet baby ray's bbq sauce, 2 T light brown sugar, and 1/2 C scallions .
Back on the grid for 30-min. @400*
Served with mac and cheese. These were the best drumettes I have ever had.

Ross, Nice job. I have made a bunch of wings on the egg that turned out okay, but I have never made "kick *ss" great tasting wings. Maybe I should try your indirect method.

Ross I can't tell if I like your food or your pictures the best. Hell, they are both the bast.....Salado TX & 30A FL: Egg Family: 3 Large and a very well used Mini, added a Mini Max when they came out (I'm good for now). Plus a couple Pit Boss Pellet Smokers.

SBR's is a great sauce to play with, your little teak sounds tasty.

What were the measurements on the marinade and what type of hot pepper sauce did you use? Worcestershire and pepper sauce can really change tastes depending on measurements.
