This is a better recipe than the the one I posted last week

The juice of 6 oranges, 2 white onions, 1 bunch of cilantro chopped after the two day marinade Sprinkle on some Carne Asada Seasoning (Chef Merito Seasoning)

The Egg getting up to 450*

It doesn't take long

You got to have tortillas

Served with my wife Jackie's Spanish Rice and Refried Beans in Bacon Fat

My Family whom enjoyed this meal with us on the left my brother Cal his wife Carol, my sister Nell and brother-in law Chuck, and my lovely wife Jackie the empty chair is for me
Thanks for looking

Geeeeze Ross, what did you do, rob the cradle.
Another great looking cook.
You need to share Jackie's Spanish Rice and Refried Beans in Bacon Fat.

Thanks Kent, yes I did rob the cradle,Jackie is only 59 years young I'll send you the recipes

So how did you talk her into that arraignment - you are just not that cute.
You are up pretty late for a working man... oh yes, you have an hour on me.
Are you feeling any of those earthquakes going on out your way?
Kent -

Hi Ross,
Great looking meal and I checked out your blog; very nice job.
Could you share the Carne Asada marinade and beans recipes? I'd like to give it a try, as it looks outstanding.
Thanks for posting, I always enjoy your food pics. -
That looks great, Ross. Please post the recipe.
FaithHappily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Ditto. Looks amazing Ross. I would love to give this a go.

Ross, it was a big mistake for me to open this post before a lunch meeting. The Carne Asada looks soooooooooo delicious. Your pics make it seem like the egg is in my office and the plate is on my desk!
-
Looks Great, I love Carne Asada and I have that seasoning too! I will have to give it a shot!
-
I saved your recipe from the last cook,
Since this seems to be different (no cilantro?), would you either post here or email me the complete recipe so I can give it a try?
Thanks,
Clark
PS - My Earthbox squash is slowly dying out - not sure if it's squash borers or just getting too hot (upper 90's). I sprayed well twice with some BT, but no help. I have gotten over 31# of squash and zukes from 2 1/2 boxes of plants! Maybe their just "worn out". May dig them up and replant some more summer squash later this month.
Tomatoes and peppers are putting on tons of veggies (not ripe yet). I've got bad blossom-end rot on the Whopper tomatoes, but no problem with the hybrid in the same box. 2 cups of lime in the soil.??? Guess I will need to get some of that blossom-end rot spray for them. -
Nice to find something better - you happy with it, or gonna modify again? I've been going with Orange of some sort (fresh, juice, or frozen concentrate), bit of lime, onion and cilantro. Then usually a little Tequila (shhhhhhh...
)
