My table

Here is a pic of the table I made last Fall. It's made from Fir 2x6s and 2x4s with about 6 coats of spar varnish. I ran the top boards thru the jointer and planer to get rid of the cupping and twist. The egg is spaced up to make the bottom shelf more usable. I do some DO cooking (that's why I have Kingsford) so I made room for my DO table. Got the L last month, still undecided as to cut a hole for it, or to leave it in the nest.

How do you like the dutch oven cooking?

I think that would be a perfect compliment to eggin.

I am currently taking a welding class and will be making a steel table like you have.

Any suggestions other than a basic design?

I had my DOs before I got the BGE. It's fun, a whole nother "cult" if you will. The table is a commercial one made by Camp Chef, it has removable legs so I can use it as a standalone table. If there is one thing that could be improved on it, the wind screen should be taller. Some folks use old license plates held together with keychain rings.

As you can see, I have quite a few. I have a couple more that I got after I took this pic.

Would you happen to have the plans for your table?
Also did you have any problems with the alignment of the base and the dome?
