Love GSPs good luck my first was a puppy until like 6.  The current is 4 super smart but acts like a puppy still.

Yeah they are almost too smart for their own good sometimes. She’s a great dog, usually calm, until she’s not, and thankful my boys are all rough with her and she loves it. 

Prey drive is through the roof some days. I’ve regularly found dead chipmunks in my kitchen floor that she’s brought in after playing with them.

Thank you!  Yeah, dogs can run around acres and play and goof off and as soon as you take them on a walk, they will sh!t.  I don't get it.  Here is a picture of one of the pooping in the middle of an intersection.  You will notice he is trying to stay in the shade.

is he facing north, mine only faces north. never noticed this with any other dog ive had before.

walking a dog and bagging sh!t, yeah right. my dog doesnt walk. my neighbor now has two abandoned houses next door, i just point and yell down and down the hill he goes

Rip (in black) earned his orange collar last week. He’s the retirement plan for my yellow. Currently in the middle of her 8th hunting season. She’s got an easy 1,000 retrieves under her belt.

No picture but my nephew has a medium sized mixed breed dog and a Boston Terrier. A couple of weeks ago he came out second in a chili cook off. 4 or 5 days later his new SWMBO feed the left overs to the dogs, big mistake. They started making horrible noises, and ran out into the garage before going into projectile diarrhea. All over the place. The larger one even painted the garage door. It seems that dog digestive tracts can’t handle assorted chiles.

Which dog came in second in the cook off. Don’t care to know about the shiten contest results.

Otis was our first basset. We had him for 14 almost 15 years, great dog.

@dbCooper she is a blue fronted amazon and will turn 16 in April.  She has an amazing vocabulary and always surprises me with new things.  One day she greeted me with "Hi Stinky", have no idea where she heard that!
