In memory of Brian Ball
Brian was a great firefighter, a loving father and husband. He was killed last week when the tree he was cutting fell on him. He was part owner of a tree service on his days off from the fire dept. He leaves behind a wife and two boys 2 and 3 years old.
We'll miss you buddy! :(

Was he a firefighter in your area?
So sorry to hear this. My condolences to the family. :( :( -
There is NO such thing as a "sports hero"... THIS man, potentially putting his life on the line for others every day he was a firefighter, is one of the true heros.
Condolences.
Wayne -
What a tragedy. My heart and prayers go out to his family in this time of great need.

I said to my wife, 'Where do you want to go for our anniversary?' She said, 'I want to go somewhere I've never been before.' I said, 'Try the kitchen.'

My prayers for you and especially his family. Sometimes it just seams so unfair especially to the wife and two cute little boys.

I agree with GG, heartbreaking!

Thanks JL, it sure does seem unfair. There were 4 other firemen there with him when it happened. I can tell you there is a lot of guilty feelings and what if's going on in their minds.

The community has been very supportive of both the family and the our dept. The Bank of Bartlett set up an account so folks could make donations to his family. It's amazing that it takes something like this to bring communities together.
Thanks Hoss, -
It seems the good ones are called home so soon. Perhaps it's because they do so much good here and their"bucket" filled up too fast. The family pictures are haunting and sad. Once their grief subsides (it will never go away)maybe those little boys can talk of their dad as a hero. I'll have a good thought for them tonight and for time to come. God bless them.
-
My condolences to his family and friends. Life is never as fair as we would like it to be.
Prayers are with his family. -
Thanks Mark, I think the saddest part is knowing that those boys memories will fade and they may have no recollections of their dad.
