How long for a bone-in leg'o'lamb?

It tips the scales at 2.088 kg (4.5 lbs for you yanks).

I'm thinking of doing a reverse sear on this puppy. I will be putting slivers of garlic in it and tying some rosemary to the outside.

  • A few months ago I asked and received a recipe for 7 hour leg of lamb on the egg, sounded awesome. Can resurrect if you need it. I wish I had a nice filing system like richard FL, would make life easier. Just let me know.
  • Maybe an hour and a half, maybe...cook to 140ish internal...they do not take that long.
  • Ahhh....we're eatingin 3 hours, so a 7-hr recipe is gonna generate nothing but scorn from the wife. If you have the link feel free to send it as I will use it in the future.
  • If you search with bone in leg of lamb, lots of ideas. Stike's seem to be something easy and about 90 minutes. 20 minutes a lb at 400 indirect. A little rosemary a little DP rub and you r good to go.
