Big Green Egg has changed my life....

edited 1:15AM in EggHead Forum
You know I used to look forward to going out to eat every once in awhile. Leaving the children with a riot control officer, dressing up in some nice Tommy Bahama gear, backing the sports car out of the drive way with the deep sound of the rear pipes vibrating the neigbors windows, getting to the romantic dimm lighted restaurant where me that the misses can gaze into each others eyes.....then it happens.....It never used to never used to never used to even be a part of my thought process.....the food comes..... and No matter if it is chicken, steak, fish, or hell even pizza now, IT ALL SUCKS....compared to the master pieces I can Orb at home. [p]So now heres a NIGHT OUT: Child Riot Control officer of older and driving age takes the Children out to eat cardboard pizza and play reindeer games while the misses and I get the lights just right, put on the light music, Have some fun Green Egg cooking time "if you know what I mean" then pull from that green spere the Carcass of the night and feast. We have the whole house to ourselves and at half the price of going out, even with the kiddies at the rat palor.

Doc Jerrah,[p]Thats a great story! I'll have to show that to the g-friend, just to show here I'm not the only person in the world who is in love with the "green thing" and the food that comes off of it![p]Smokey

    Doc Jerrah,
I agree with you wholeheartedly. Only (albeit minor) problem is that with all the charcoal and smoke smell on me and my clothes, a shower is required before the "if you know what I mean" part.

  • Doc Jerrah,
You are so right everything out of the egg is better. I feel sory for those who are selling these "dinners". I won't be to hard on them, they have never enjoyed food from the BGE. We must all work a little harder to educate all of these non eggers. May the egg be with you.

  • bd,[p]I have considered coming out with a line of faramones that have a coal base to them.....Nothing like that outdoor woodsman look and smell that turn those Big Green Egg women on.

    Doc Jerrah,
Riot Control Officer… That is just downright funny. I need one or two of those, where do I get them?[p]RhumAndJerk
