Gotta make a dedicated run.  Looking for any recent (past few years worth) experiences.  Have the definitive "guidebook" (EZ66 Guide) and will download the apps as absent a navigator the guide book is a great read but no way to solo follow the road.
Launch sometime in early/mid Oct is the plan and hopefully the "actual".
Do have a hard stop finish in Santa Monica October 16th.
Thanks in advance-

What will you be piloting for this solo mission?

It is solo ... But it's gonna be a great trip! The pilot ride wants to be a rental convertible of any pedigree but based on the early returns that may be be a pass.  More later but doubt any change.
I love to drive-my personal challenge will be to stop and appreciate the roadside development that happened as the road delivered promise to so many. Talk about a life/history rewind-one last go.

Oh man , I may have to head to Santa Monica in October @lousubcap

Oatman AZ is along Route 66 , a fun little “ ghost town “ and you can stay in Laughlin NV right across the bridge and make your way into California the next morning
