Are the 5 pre-set temp functions good enough or do you need adjustable setpoint feature for expected results?

Yes Ron, 2 units would be a win at $125 each and you would end up with 6 glass containers vs 2 containers buying the dual unit at $350. Thinking ahead when I drop one and break it!!!!
They have been good enough for My Beautiful Wife and I as we are still figuring it out with multiple item cooks and two tier cooks, so yeah, so far we have been able to find a spot that fits all we have tried to do. Adjusting time is something you will learn.

I recommend reviewing the users guide that comes along with it, and there are folks out there doing tutorials on the internet with the Ninja Crisper that have provided some very helpful and useful information.
Ron, Thank you for the reply and info...and now costing me $125 =)
The least expensive part of owning a BGE or similar on this thread is your initial investment to purchase said cooking device. This forum is for wallet genocide. We are a very expensive support group.

No worries, if at anytime you think I may be of any help let me know, and I will try to do so.
    Ron,

This site and the old one, has "forced" me to spend a lot of money over the years on BGE's, BGE accessories and other items I didn't know I needed. It starts out simple enough then the next thing you have 3 eggs on the back porch 20 bags of Rockwood in the garage, plate setters, baskets, pizza stones, adjustable rigs, thermometers in multiple colors and much much more. I think you get the idea!!!

Have a great and safe 4th of July. :)

In 15 years, I am in at least 80k, and I am absolutely certain that number is higher.

We remodeled the house specifically to be able to take care of the XL BGE cooks, wine storage, kitchen appliances, patio, and of course the other obvious necessities when doing large roasts for groups of folks.

Celebrating my birthday I share with the gift of Thomas Jefferson, my 68th, (a record for me).

we will be frying chicken on the egg, because we can.

Hoping everyone has a safe and wonderful holiday or weekend if not in the Last year’s 4th celebration. Peach Butts.

My peach butts were a hit last night. I vacuum packed about one and 1/4 to freeze for future use.

They are hard to beat. Everyone always takes home leftovers.

My beautiful wife makes a shallot and cucumber, pickled salad.  She is also a baker and makes small rolls we use to put the leftovers and the salad. It melts in your mouth, we add some avocado oil based mayo with Dijon type mustard. We use Malle, it is delicious Sammy to have.
