Birthday Celebrations

Had a great birthday weekend. Spent Friday at the driving range with a buddy and then had lunch with the lady. Saturday had a golf outing with the boys (no pictures, for obvious reasons) and this morning my wife made breakfast on the Blackstone. She got some of my favorite beers and a new MacBook.

    Congratulations on the successful completion of another lap of the sun.  Sounds like a great celebration planned and then executed!
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    I believe in showing appreciation where it is due and treating accordingly. The corporate holiday conveyor belt makes me feel disingenuous in my distribution of gifts and/or praise.

    We've been married for 19 years on the 26th of the month and been together for 20. I'm in the party of not celebrating the "corporate" holidays, but prefer to show her how much I care for her everyday. As such, she has requested to go to a newly opened brewery near us on Mother's Day. I married way out of my league.
