what exactly is a debit account number? its not a debit card number nor visa type, is it a bank account number. have one listed on a job purchase order with 12 digits? my guy at the bank is out this week and ive never seen this before.

    i just re-looked, 14 digits starting with an 01-....-....-....

    never seen this before. would have liked to get materials ordered today but will need to wait til monday it looks like. nothing is easy anymore

    most logical explanation that is there as the convenience for the customer's purchasing agent or accounting department as an easy cross-reference of the funding to them. We used to do the same but buried it in a non-conspicuous corner of the purchase order.

    makes sense. they referenced on every line item and spelled it out though.  usually i get payments now thru direct transfer deposit or thru a visa the purchase agent carries. kinda need to know if its going to be thru visa up front because those fees need to be added upfront in the quote. this ones different to me
