Ribeye From Aldi

First time I've bought a steak from them, it was tender and flavorful.
Good price at $15/lb, this was about 1.4 lbs. Wet aged for
about three weeks, seasoned with SPG. The aging just happened, was not a intentional
thing.

Nice cook, I'd call that semi-caveman. Hot n fast or reverse seared? Glad your beautiful pics get to see the light of day

@Canugghead - This was straight up grilling, didn't think it was thick enough to need reverse sear. And thanks to @lousubcap preaching, I converted to caveman finish for all reverse sears a couple years back.LBGE, LBGE-PTR, 22" Weber, Coleman 413GGreat Plains, USA

Looks great. Just because I’m curious, were there any sides, or was it 100% beef?

@GrateEggspectations - Just garden salads my lady friend whipped up, not really picture worthy. btw . . . I didn't eat that whole steak, we split it.LBGE, LBGE-PTR, 22" Weber, Coleman 413GGreat Plains, USA

Ribeye. You had me at Ribeye, and a1.3 pounder? Rockstar.I think you could cook a flip flop, and it would be killer, however you chose Ribeye.Thank you for sharing, I am going to Aldi’s and not leaving until a 1 lb plus is procured, prepared, placed, and served. You continue to cost me money, and I like it."Knowledge is Good" - Emil Faber
