SWMBO had her IVIG infusion Monday, so she felt like refried sh!te all day yesterday, and is only marginally better today. She has to get this infusion every 3 weeks and feels horrible for 3 1/2 - 4 days after.
Decided short rib ragu over fresh pappardelle was in order, along with cheesy garlic bread.
Hits the spot.

That would hit the spot no matter how you're feeling.  Here's to hoping the treatment is effective.

Thanks. All of the steroids over the years for her asthma destroyed her immune system, so this gives her a temporary boost, hence the need for treatment every 3 weeks. Ironically, she also needs to take prednisone every day because another side effect of chronic steroid use is destroying the adrenal gland.

Infusions are the worst. My wife did them every three weeks for over a year.

Then they switched her to something new, and it came with four other drugs that were just to deal with the side effects of the main one. Cancer really sucks.

Couldn't agree more about cancer. Have had too many family members, including my son and his son, that have had too many family deal with.
