    Thanks - but I'm just acting as a go-between. Good friend of my brother-in-law bought it even though he doesn't own an egg. He gave it to my b-i-l assuming I had an XL. He then planned to drop it off at Goodwill and I said I would try to find a home for it first...so the clock is ticking!

    Super nice offer! Just a word of warning for folks with an older XL this isn’t compatible with our original grates or the older CI half grates. I learned the hard way by buying one 🤨. I worked out a way to use it but it is now pretty much permanently attached to my grate.

    Shameless refresher to get back up near the page top...BUT just to sweeten the FREE offer I will throw in a couple air dried logs of wild black cherry and a big 4 foot piece of peach wood. The "winning" person will have to saw or chunk out the wood logs though!

    Time is of the essence as the owner will take this FREE XL convEGGtor basket to Goodwill this week and you know they will have NO clue what it is and just throw it into a salvage metal heap!

    Better to be lucky than good comes to mind.  
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    No, Cap, like I said I was merely acting as a go-between, so the tiny amount of my time and effort isn't a brown water kind of thing. Besides the donor in this case is strictly a beer drinker I believe anyway. So, @Ragingirishman2, don't feel any liquid payment is needed. I still need to know if you want any of that aged wild black cherry wood or the peach wood though...
