Yesterday would have been the King of Zydeco's 100th birthday. While I don't understand French, much less Cajun his oldest recordings still get me movin & groovin!

He’s from my hometown. He’s got a municipal building in his name, and a few other odds and ends. The man could definitely carry a tune

I love Zydeco music - I used to listen to KSLO and KBON radio stations from Louisiana on an FM radio app. Lots of great music played in those two.
