Warranty communication slow

Wondering if anyone has had experience with communication on warranty.

I submitted the warranty information via the webform and got an automated response the next day that someone would get back to me in about 48 hours. 

And then nothing. 

I've sent a couple of emails to no avail.

I’ve had great success with warranty at my local Ace. Called them last week and they said it’s all through BGE .com now. Haven’t stopped life to fill out the online stuff.

48hrs BGE time is ~ 0-2 weeks.  Sometimes pinging them again or call the headquarters helps.

Are you simply registering an egg or making a warranty claim?

They have responded, apparently a glitch with my submission. Resubmitting. Hopefully cooking soon!

Cracks in the base on the right and left of access door.

have replaced two large bases like that in 25 years, no cracks in the last 15 though. knocking on wood.  dont use it on a wooden deck or in a wood table, one of mine burnt thru a 2 inch thick pine table

Stopped by the dealer today and picked up a new base. Green Egg contacted me to make sure it all was successful.

That's what I did. I had registered my Egg, filed a claim online. There was a bit of system error but then it was processed. I picked up the replacement part from a local dealer.
