Title says it all-any inputs appreciated.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

    +1 on Cozy Corner

I was never a fan of Rendezvous so resist any temptation to go there unless things have changed in the 28 years since I was last there.

And although they are a little "sauce forward", I was always a fan of Corkys.  Hopefully, others with more up-to-date info will chime in.

Corkys also offers dry or wet ribs. Another option is The Bar B Q Shop

I asked a buddy who lived there for several years and he said the BBQ Shop was the second best in the area (get the Rib Tips). He said the Germantown Commissary was first but it’s in the burbs.

Central BBQ is very good - the original location on Central Ave recently reopened after rebuilding (their chicken wings are awesome).

I do like Commissary, but it is in Germantown, which is a bit of a drive for me - haven’t been there in a while.

lots of folks swear by BBQ shop.  I had a OK meal there 5 to 10 years ago and haven’t been back.  I need to give it another try.

Cozy corner is famous for their Cornish Hen.  For anything else, I would go elsewhere.

One and Only BBQ is good, but like Commissary is out near Germantown

Another good place in a bad part of town is Pains.  It’s a dump, but many old timers swear by it.

    Have fun

editing to add the BBQ shop has a unique dish - BBQ Spaghetti.  Worth a try.

Commissary gets my vote. Don't waste your time at Rendezvous.
