Prime rib photos
It has been a while since I posted a cook so here’s one from today. A 1.8kg prime rib. Reverse seared. It was £37 from a farmers market. It’s cooks like this which means I don’t like going to steak restaurants any more.

Also bonus photo of a langos I had at the market. It’s a Hungarian dish - a deep fried flatbread that is then covered in sour cream and grated cheese. Better in Hungary but was still good at this London market.
I’ve eaten a lot of calories today…

Pretty sure I could also get behind anything deep fried, then slathered in sour cream, and cheese.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
I'm in the same boat as you, I haven't been to a steak restaurant (or ordered steak when dining out) since we got the BGE. It's a total game changer. We've had friends come round for a reverse seared steak who have said the same ... although they have done reverse sear using an oven rather than an Egg. Where was the farmer's market?-----------------------------------------------------------------------

The market was Alexandra Palace. @Stormbringer There’s a lot of expensive meat, but one farmer-butcher is a fraction of the price of everyone else - no frills but excellent meat

Looks delish!
