Itβs that time of year! π
π» I roasted some chestnuts the other day and will be doing a bunch later today for our Amesbury Police Dept. as they do their annual Santa Ride around town.Β
Score the chestnuts with an βXβ then soak in warm water for 30 min or so. Then I toss them in a melted butter and maple syrup mixture before throwing them on the Egg at 400Β° direct for about 30 min while tossing frequently.Β

yep, I bought my nuts last week. nice fresh ones and if it would stop raining around here I'm doing the annual batch.Β I don't soak mine after scoring, will have to try that out.~~
