    For me this is the salient point. Yes there are a lot of OT posts when compared to the number of cook posts. And actual posts with recipes, hints and tips. I appreciate it takes time and effort to make such a post, I personally think it's worth doing though to grow the knowledge and enjoyment of community members.

    It's true that this is a community and the OT posts are community-based discussions that we have virtually. However the community is mostly founded on cooking in our eggs. If we want our community to grow, having cooking threads is the way to go. Newcomers are unlikely to be enticed by OT threads. I came here after googling pizza in the egg and found a thread on it here.
