    Tomato soup cake is not something I've ever heard of before today.  That's different for sure.

    it tastes more like a spice cake with allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg. the campbells condense keeps it moist but doesnt add a tomato flavor.  dont know how long it goes back in the family, i remember my great grandmother serving it on my birthday when i was really young. its always served at our reunions around the holidays and birthdays

    I was going to ask about the flavor, since the tomato soup likely has a lot of salt. I might try this some time.

    I found a recipe for it in one of my cookbooks. I haven’t tried it but it sounds good.

    There's a stick of butter in it but for some reason it's unsalted butter....
