Tomato soup cake is not something I've ever heard of before today. That's different for sure.
Turkey sub looks great. I'd crush that."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike -
Tomato soup cake is a new one on me, too.
Duck, Andouille Sausage and Shrimp gumbo; roux was made with half duck fat and half butter, it didn't suck.

it tastes more like a spice cake with allspice, cinnamon, nutmeg. the campbells condense keeps it moist but doesnt add a tomato flavor. dont know how long it goes back in the family, i remember my great grandmother serving it on my birthday when i was really young. its always served at our reunions around the holidays and birthdays

Nice. Slow cooked some pintos today with the leftover smoked ham bone.

Here's a cook that fits the "tday leftovers" category.
These are meatballs I made with the last parts of our Thanksgiving turkey.
We call these "mondeghili" in milanese dialect:
leftover meat of any kind, eggs, leftover potatoes (optional), leftover bread softened in milk, Grana Padano (our local parmesan more or less), parsley, butter (I used oil), lemon peel, salt, pepper, nutmeg.
Those are supposed to be fried in a pan, I kept it more light just baking in the oven.
I also made the "leftovers of the leftovers" by lightly frying a bunch and it was great!
