I purchased a Dreo Air Fryer a year ago and unfortunately it did not last.  I am looking for recommendations for a replacement!

  • Put your faith in Costco and pick up one of their offerings. We bought a Gourmia years back and have been happy, though it doesn’t get all that much use in our household.

I have an Instant Vortex Pro. I used it enough to get tired of cleaning it after every use! Then the axle started slipping when the rotisserie basket was full of wings and so it would just rock and not rollover. I diagnosed the problem and fixed it after I had filed a complaint. Much to my surprise one day a brand new one showed up! So now I have my original one taking up counter space and I haven't used it in at least 18 months. Why couldn't that complaint solution have happened with a $150 bottle of hooch or something?

I have a Ninja air fryer I bought five years ago. It gets a lot of use and is still as good as new.
Cincinnati, Ohio. Large BGE since 2011. Still learning.

Does anyone use their air fryer on any other setting than wide open? All I need is an on/off switch and less things to break. A timer is a bonus

We have a cuisinart dual purpose toaster oven and air fryer. Works great!

FWIW, I mostly cook side dishes.  I did make chicken parmigiana once though 😂🤣

oh, and chicken wings are awesome in an air fryer but I still prefer to make them in the egg.

My wife found some GF chicken tenders at Costco and they do great in the air fryer setting of our toaster oven.

My wife wants the ninja so that's probably going to happen soon.

This is mostly why I got one. I used to go to a wing night in Aylmer where you could get double deep-fried wings. They ended up rendering out a lot of fat, so were smaller than once-fried wings, but had just the most amazing crunch and texture. I find that by doing wings in the air fryer, first on pretty high and then turned way down for rendering, you can get incredibly similar results. You’re making me want some now.
