Does this mean I can yell "fire" in a crowded theater again? I'm very surprised that you haven't mentioned anything about Russian oligarchs who helped Musk acquire Twitter. Wonder why that is.

Maybe because he was talking about Zuckerberg who own Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp?

So what's the difference and why would you bring attention to one and ignore the other? I do have concerns with the White House overstepping its bounds, but public safety must also be weighed. And if we're keeping a score on collusion, I think the Russia and the republicans are still winning in a rout.

I really don't think they overstepped.  They found misinformation on covid on the platform, brought it to the attention of Meta, and asked them to remove it.  Meta removed some of it but not all, and there was never any infringement of their 1A rights.

Lots of hyperventilating, of course, because that's all people seem to be able to do these days.

Actually the laptop suppression was the second point mentioned in the article cited. Facebook even suppressed links to the original New York Times story.

The non-sequitur at play here is Trump’s claim that the 2020 election was rigged.  Unless Meta has access to a time machine, that is.

There’s the elephant in the room you don’t want to admit exists. You are fine with one side having all the say so. We know it wasn’t misinformation but censorship. Do you even know the difference? We also know things they said were false information was actually true. The laptop was true but was said to be fake. The origins of covid was shutdown and you couldn’t even make a joke without censorship. The first amendment is the strongest tool we have to have a voice. Even when we don’t like it. When you have the power to put your thumb on the scale and limit the side you don’t like then we lose freedoms.

Do you agree with Durov being arrested in France? Should Elon get the same treatment?

Obviously you don't know what censorship is.  Maybe we should start with that.

Everyone knows what it is. The difference is, you like it as long as your masters are the ones doing it. It’s all for “the greater good after all “….

Was it censorship or misinformation when they were saying the laptop was Russian disinformation? Was is  censorship or misinformation when they said the origin of Covid was a wet market? Was it censorship or misinformation when they shut down all talk about ivermectin being used as a covid treatment or questing any aspect of Covid. It was all taken off social media and shutdown by these “ fact checkers “ after all. And you’re cool with it.

You call him weird because that’s what your master’s are telling you to say. Funny you don’t call this weird though.

It’s “masters” - no need for the apostrophe there, it’s not possessive.

I do find this a bit weird, don’t you?

I mean what’s that about?  It’s very strange.
