Costco Pizza $1.99 with $65 cover charge. No thanks

Costco is also a 55 mile trip one way for me. Sam’s Club is a 27 mile trip in the opposite direction. The grocery store a half mile away is cheap enough.DoubleEgger said:Costco Pizza $1.99 with $65 cover charge. No thanks -
I’ve told this story before and its in the same vein but I remember going to Costco in Anchorage as a kid, staring at the $225 cash register tab. Mom and dad would have two flat carts of groceries we would bucket brigade into the back of the truck.South of Columbus, Ohio.

Kansas is one of the cheapest - that makes that whole house deal even worse. Sheesh, take my money.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

Naaa, I was planning what all I had to do on Friday and my brain just stayed there. Oh, BTW I agree I'd never go to either COSTCO or SAM'S just to get a pizza. But I love C's dough - they used to sell it but as I recall only by the case of 12 balls - that would take up too much freezer space!Re-gasketing the USA one yard at a time

Hope your recovery is still going well Ron. Glad to have you back.

Just Vote- What if you could choose "none of the above" on an election ballot? Millions of Americans do just that, in effect, by not voting. The result in 2016: "Nobody" won more counties, more states, and more electoral votes than either candidate for president. -
I found a local pizza place in Forks Washington that had a $8.99 10” pepperoni with a drink. It was respectable pizza too.JohnInCarolina said:

Sorry to disappoint.Hidden gems are everywhere. -
I checked online at our favorite place (wife does the ordering), our go to pie is a 16 inch meat lover type pizza which is $30.86. If you want a single topping it is $24.88. Given I'm in the midwest it doesn't seem like Tacoma is that out of whack.

The 2" difference between a 16" and 18" pizza is a 25% jump in pizza area, so that's not bad considering most are quoting 16" pizzas.
