How do I make the BGE more of a wood fired oven?

My first thought was "it *is* a wood fired oven" but on second thought I took it to mean either burning wood in the bowl or burning wood off to one side, perhaps on top of the platesetter if you don't want your platesetter to be in one piece.

If you are looking to closely replicate a true wood fired oven then from all I have read and seen over the years the BGE is not capable of such a feat.  You can get good pizzas from it (if that is the desired end-state) and there are several threads to help you in that endeavor.  (search function).  Just an opinion and we all know what those are worth.
