Keep an Eagle Eye out at the supermarket

I hardly ever watch the screen as my groceries get scanned but yesterday I just happened to look up as the little girl was struggling with entering the bar code for a bunch of carrots  $14!!!!!!😳 I queried the price and the response was oh sorry I will fix that. Geeez lesson learnt. Keep an eagle eye on the screen when at the till.

    Agreed John. You gotta check those expiration dates as well. I see a lot more expired food on the shelves these days.

    $14 carrots! I’ve noticed produce being moldy (mainly peppers and berries) more than anything lately. Seems like they’re holding onto supply longer and longer these days. No need in the grocer’s eyes. Everything there is on consignment except for the absolute first delivery
