Bluetooth Dome Thermometer Range

I just tried out my BGE Bluetooth Dome Thermometer for the first time. It works, but the Bluetooth range is only about 20 feet. This limits its usefulness. The battery has a full charge. Any ideas or should I just return it and get a new one?

I exchanged it for a new one. Same issue. Will return for refund. They need to make a stronger BlueTooth signal or use wifi.

I returned it. Dealer not happy. It’s a good concept with a flawed design. I want a thermometer I can read from inside my house - not one that loses connectivity. WiFi would be a better option. Bluetooth works better for things in close proximity- like headphones or speakers.
