Toasted bagel with veggie cream cheese, hot pepper bacon jam, fried egg, filet mignon, fresh charred corn, roasted jalapeño and scratch-made pirogies. The bacon jam put it over the top. 🔥 🥩 💥 🌶️

That is way beyond virgin territory for me but kudos for bringing it home.  I would  crush that.

The youngins helped me with the pirogies a few weeks ago. These were a coupla small bags worth that I had frozen. Boiled them in salted water from frozen until they were floating, then air fried them. Dipped in sour cream. They were on point.

Picked up some Costco filets tonight and used a few things I had lingering around.

Here’s a better pic of the bacon jam. Got it from the Publix deli section. Has an intense smokiness, mildly spicy and super sweet. Delicious with cream cheese on a bagel.

Yessir! I'd snarf down just the pierogies, let alone the rest of it.

  • Wow, all looks great! Thanks for the headsup on the bacon jam, turns out Terrapin Ridge Farms is located right near me in FL and it is sold around town, but not in Publix. I will be buying that stuff on your recommendation.
Happily egging on my original large BGE since 1996... now the owner of 5 eggs. Call me crazy, everyone else does!

Thx yall. @Florida Grillin Girl , I imagine homemade would be better, but this ain’t bad for store bought. Can’t wait to try it on a burger.

The bacon jam is very good on a burger. 18 yr old son and 15yr old daughter agree.

@Dyal_SC - nailed it.  Beautiful crust and cross-section.  The $$ shot tells the story.
I applaud you for nominating steak Wednesday-hopefully your chance of winning is better than mine.  =)
