Searches changed for me

what changed for the search .  I used to get great results but now it always comes uo no results

Your best bet to find anything on this site is not to use the search bar on the forum itself, but rather just to go over to Google.  

Here's a link that will show you what to type in over at Google.com if you want to find Travis' old thread on brisket, for example:

All that being said, it appears the forum search tool is in fact broken.   Like lots of other things around here.  If only there was a moderator named after a large mammal tasked with maintaining the site...

An easier way to accomplish the same is to type:

www.eggheadforum.com: Brisket - How I Do It

Just change the portion after the colon to whatever search term you're looking for. This works on any website.

i find that even google doesnt work as well with this site, even google images for this site is way down. maybe just a hiccup as this site fades away.......

I found the problem with the search this past weekend when I was looking for the bourbon slushie recipe. Google came through for me and found it.

Google also wasn’t helping me much this weekend, I was trying to look up my last jerk chicken recipe with no luck. I ended up digging it up in my Amazon photo app. Sucks because that search function has been clutch until recently.

Your recipe looks real good, but I've hardly made a dent in my restaurant sized tub of Hot Walkerswood 

Edit: I suspect Google search failed because it was buried in WAYCTDr; it's one of the reasons I create stand alone threads so I have better luck finding them down the road.

im beginning to believe that googles canadian r&d company is running the google software........ its a commie company......google searches here with the forum are not like they used to be in the past year.
