Haven't been on the forum for quite a while.  Does the search function not work anymore? A bunch of old announcements at the top too?

It has been down for a while. Admin has been notified but sadly this forum and its success or failure is not a priority for BGE Corporate. Rather than embrace the decades of experience, comradery, and knowledge of Eggheadforum.com members who have endorsed thousands of egg purchases, and can offer future or current eggers a wealth of egging recipes or experience they treat us like a weed that won't die.
It is rather discouraging and almost certainly contributing to the membership decline.

Thanks @alaskanassasin and @HeavyG. What other forums are your favorites?  I just bought a Sous Vide today and am going to try out some ribs this weekend finishing them on the BGE so I will be researching some posts for pointers.  FB

@TechsasJim might be able to recommend a different forum... for me this is it, I came to this place when my beautiful wife bought me an egg, looking for pointers I quickly learned there was a ton of shenanigans I wanted to be a part of, and I have been hanging out ever since.  Someone here recommended reddit and I used to spend some time on their home page but in the past few months it has turned political and not in a balanced way.
I am a beekeeper and use my sous vide primarily liquefy honey that has crystalized, it works great for that and left overs! @JohnInCarolina has some chocolate pot recipes that are alleged panty droppers but Ive seen a picture of John and I am not sure he can attest to this personally, I am pretty sure @MasterC went off the deep end with sous vide a few months back so maybe he will chime in, heavy on shrimp if I recall.
