Sometimes a simple cook is all that’s needed. Tonight I smoked a leg of lamb in the Large over cherry and roasted Santana potatoes in the MMX with duck fat from the last cook. Served with a 2001 Sociando Mallet, this was a great Saturday evening meal.

The lamb smoking in the large using a PSWoo and catching the juices in a pan for gravy:

The potatoes in the Minimax:

Carved lamb:
Dinner is served;

Thanks for looking.

    Dang-especially that photo of the potatoes in the MMX.  Food porn of the highest quality across the entire cook.

    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

    Thanks folks, I'm once again really impressed with the quality of photos when using the IPhone 15 Pro Max. I realised I left some detail out of the OP ... lamb was smoked at 350F until it reached IT of 155F, then wrapped for 20 mins. The potatoes were cooked at 400F for around an hour. I used the Santana potatoes from Egypt, they make amazing roast potatoes as well as chips / fries.

    We have leftover lamb, gravy and more potatoes so tonight I'm going to (attempt to) make lamb poutine. :)
