@alaskanassasin , no HOA… one of the perks that drew us to the area. Most everyone on the street have private docks (not us as we are the poor folk living next to richer folk) so boats are the norm. I’m sure the trash can drew some attention when I was grilling on it. lol I probably should go put it back in the garage. Only use it for ashes.

FWIW, I had no issue with my XL band swap out using an old handler.

Thx, M!  …. I’m just going to just order the bands and wing it when the time comes to put it back together.  The underbite is getting on my last nerve. Not bad though for about 15 years of regular use.

The big green egg office replied immediately to my emails. Their new bands have curved brackets that ensure the fit. 5 year warranty for the nest and nest handler as well.

Edit: Say thanks to your team for us when you get this message, Mr. Rob. You work with some great folks.

Hello @The_Buffalo Can we get more than 10 threads on the homepage?  I am aware of the Egghead forum page but if you click the banner it takes you home, so if you read a thread you have to click back on your browser.  Also what happened to the sweet header photos?

If you go to eggheadforum.com you get a home page with 10 threads, the one you want is not there, so you click Forums, then click Egghead Forum, you find the thread and post, then click EGGhead Forum on the top left of your screen and it takes you back to Eggheadforum.com with 10 threads I mean what are we doing here?

Not changing a thing since this new roll-out other than to hide all post acknowledgments.  It's the "everybody gets a trophy" way of life these days.

Forth is spelled correctly, it is just used wrong.

100 years ago there was a spell checker written at UWO by a masters student. Had the concept of "stop words" which would flag and show context for any of your defined stop words.  For example, I'm just dyslexic enough to need both "form" and "from" in the stop word list.

A rose in the wrong place is a weed. A correctly spelt word in the wrong place needs a spell check.

I'm gonna be staring at that for awhile.  Apple Dictionary says it's wrong, and it looks wrong to me, but Apple Dictionary isn't very good (for instance, my laptop just flagged my own "awhile", yet it appears in the Dictionary app).

it's an archaic Brit spelling. Similar to tyre, shew, gaol, and connexion.
