Honestly wouldn’t put it past this company charging a subscription to see likes, agrees, and dislikes.  For like $50 a month.

I actually wonder if this is something that is now common across all Vanilla forums, or if instead the Buffalo is making a conscious choice in the options that are available.

It seems "Like", "Agree", and "Dislike" are, for many, as addictive as crack.

I lived on the ninth of eleven floors of dorm rooms during my time at Iowa State, and there were two elevators.  It fascinated me how many students at ground floor would press the "Up" button, it lit up, but if some d*ckhead upstairs was "holding the 'vator" due to poor planning, the person at the bottom would hit the "Up" button, repeatedly, while it's already lit, thinking the 'vator would come sooner.  I'll bet there's a few dissertations about that, somewhere (including Pedestrian signals).

One night we had a "formal" dinner in the cafeteria and we tried to fit all 60 of us on the 'vator car at once (this was a cutting-edge co-ed dorm floor, for 1978/flyover country).  I don't know how many of us got in, it was packed, but not everyone.  Doors closed, we started down, a sickening screech, free-fall ensued, and it got faster quick!  Not a design feature I'm sure, but the car doors flew open quickly so we could SEE the floors flying by!  "Trog", a guy my size but as strong as three baboons, was in front of the doors and braced his arms against the door frames (both brave and quick), and the screaming started.
The brakes finally kicked on, between the 2nd and 3rd floors.  We were able to finally pull the "outside" doors on the 2nd floor apart, and crawl thru the 3' or so space onto the 2nd floor.

I rarely took the elevator after that; would climb, and then eventually run, down and up 9 flights of stairs for

At my age the absence of acknowledgment of "like" or "agree" can be an issue.  Viewing a post and not recalling commenting on it now means "give it a go and see if the count moves up or down."
Just a "get off my lawn" moment of clarity there!

That is a great question.  I can’t imagine one exactly finds ads for “breast casters” in the classifieds…

i think this is a move to make people post more comments. And, thus generate more forum traffic.

edit: the booby gifs probably generate extra forum traffic, as well.
