OT - I won?! Yoder YS480s - OT

Hello friends!

I entered a contest at All Things BBQ and got an email that I’d won their November prize package. Included will be a Yoder YS480s. 

I’m thinking about emailing and upgrading to the next size up with the competition cart, if they’ll let me..

anyway. It isn’t here yet, and I’m a pessimist. This thing weighs like 280 pounds lol. We’ll see!

I’m very interested to see how this turns out!

Congrats! That's awesome. My wife ended up winning a Large BGE at the rib competition we were cooking at. We asked if we could upgrade to the XL and pay the difference. They were more than happy to do that for us. Hopefully that works for you as well in your situation.

I did just email and included a few food pics from the BGE. We’ll see what they say.

In pellet pooper, done in about an hour from ignition to power off. I stopped drinking the green Koolaid especially when it's chicken, regardless of weather condition

the Yoder people say they’re looking into upgrading the size and cart for me. They asked permission to tag me in social media. 

I’m really hoping for a competition cart so I can drag this sucker around with me a little more securely.

DUDE!! That's awesome, and what a Pellet smoker to win!! That's like winning a BMW M5 in smoker world!! Super high end, with extra goodies!! The 480 is no joke. You can do like 4 briskets at once. I have a friend who has one and he absolutely loves it. I've almost pulled the trigger on one a few times now! Congratulations!
