Lack of Ace Rewards Coupons

Anyone else recently noticed a lack of Ace Rewards Coupons going out.  I'm due for a bag of Rockwood and I usually have a $5 off $30 coupon on my app waiting for me

I guess I should download the app. I always get those in the mail and they never make it to Ace.

I just looked yesterday to see if I had any offers since I am down to three bags in the garage.  When I logged in, I had two coupons waiting, one was $7 off $20 and the other was $10 off $100.  I snagged a bag.  I had no idea those offers were loaded in my account.  

The other pleasant surprise was that my local store now stocks Rockwood.  So, I picked it up on my way home.

I'm still getting the paper coupons about monthly. They even applied the $20 off $100 coupon to three bags of Rockwood that were on sale. Glad that our Ace has it in stock most of the time now.

I use the app now and haven’t had any issues, get them around the first of the month I think.
I went Saturday and spent just over the $100 and whipped out the $20 off coupon on the app and the cashier said I see you have more coupons and we can stack them if you want, I used them all and took off $55 🤯 didn’t know they would do that. He said they do but maybe not other locations.

Any Ace store can carry Rockwood, they just need to order SKU 8400772.

I was at the Ace convention last week and met with hundreds (of the thousands) of store owners in attendance.  Dozens mentioned how they started carrying it once customers requested it.  It's zero risk thus 10x more effective getting it stocked when there's a customers with their credit card out--vs. me going through a sales pitch which means me trying to take their money before they have the customer to buy it.

Translation: if your Ace doesn’t carry Rockwood, just ask them to order some for you.   Maybe the next time you won’t have to ask.

Have not noticed a lag but did experience a long delay waiting for my “coupon” ace to match my “closest most frequent” Ace a while back. Also, adding the app just dropped a $5 gift credit to use. Thanks for mentioning the app.

We have a great local Ace.  When they opened they only had a few bags at a time.  I kept buying every bag.  Now they seem to stock more.  Still not prominently displayed like Green Egg Brand, but we will get there.

I got a coupon today for $5 off a bag (limit 2 bags) of BGE lump.  Not my favorite lump, but I've used worse.

Keep talking about it, I seem to be getting more coupons as a result!
