Has the email notification link been lost?

Today by shear accident I discovered I had been sent messages via this forum but I never received any email notifications. Has this new rollout eliminated that important link aspect?

And no, I have not edited nor deleted my contact link or whatever it is called! 

LOL at my age I might want my obit to include a link to the BGE forum as no one else g/a/s since I’m the Last of the Mohicans!

Check your notification preferences Ron and see if they have changed.  I think you should still be able to receive an email notification when someone sends you a private message.  

Make sure you also select an email when someone writes on your wall (activity page).  A lot of users here confuse PMs with writing on someone’s wall.
