Motivation from a friend

This was a get well gift, from a very dear friend when I was under the weather. It has not been opened, but will be served with a splash of spring water. Great friends are one of the greatest gifts in life.

I have been fortunate in life, in so many ways. I have met some amazing people with such incredible stories, from wonderfully lived lives. 

When this jug gets uncorked, I hope it will be with friends, to share not only this generous gift of bourbon, but an event that may foster some stories, to be told, in the future.

Thank you @GregW. Of the bourbons I really enjoy; Basil Hayden is my favorite. There are others we enjoy, but it seems when anyone visits, looking for a nice pour, my Basil Hayden inventory decreases, faster than all the others…..

Then there was the time, My Beautiful Wife and I were traveling in Europe. The children were home and wanted to make egg nog from their great great grandmother’s recipe, using all my Ba Hay, because they knew I liked it. 

My Children, what are you going to do?
