Dear 6 lb 12 oz Sweet Baby Jesus, please bless the swine that sacrificed its sausagy flesh for the greater good — my employees’ borborygmic breadbaskets. “Turtle eggs” getting kissed with fragrant swirls of applewood smoke on this beautiful Saturday morn.

Holy fvck. I’m stealing this!To get nerdy for a moment, I’m not certain that borborygmus/borborygmi has a non-noun form.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX.

I can’t take credit for the idea. This is from @NibbleMeThis … they’re always a hit and I personally like them better than ABT’s.

It was a twofer today with the green egg, plus the zoo in between. Good day is being had. Some cubed up pork butt with sugar lips bbq sauce and hot dogs tonight.

Wasn't sure if the cook or the use of "borborygmus" is more impressive. Then I saw the last picture above. Definitely the cook. Yum!!

Awesome cook all the way around. One question. Was the sugar lips in a squeeze bottle?

Got some good feedback from one of the employees this morning. So I know at least one of them enjoyed the turtle eggs. He said, “Man those things were good. Never had anything like that before.” They always seem to be a crowd pleaser and don’t take as long to prep as you would think.

Here’s the link. Great site, I use it all the time.

Showed my BIL these pics, they are down from Pa for vacation. He was ready to go out and get the needed ingredients to make em. Did pizza on the Egg instead. He’s converted from wanting a pellet grill, and now wants an Egg. My SIL is not happy with me, due to the price of an Egg.
