On our way to PEI for 5 days of all things Anne of Green Gables (SWMBO bucket list item). Spending tonight on a ranch somewhere between Montreal and Quebec - very peaceful spot.

Hope your trip is going well. We just got back from Montreal, but great as our trip was, I would not mind one bit traveling your way.

Yes, we’ve stayed at several HH locations and had a great experience every time.

Won’t have a chance to go tuna fishing, but a friend grew up here and I am going out lobstering with his brother-in-law Saturday morning - weather permitting.

We enjoy traveling like this, but it does take some planning to ensure we don’t end up on a road with a low bridge, no turnaround, etc.

We leave PEI on Sunday and were originally going to make our way back to Ottawa for our granddaughter’s dance recital. It seems that the air quality in the area due to the wildfires in Quebec, combined with the wife’s asthma has made that a non-starter. So we will be heading back through Maine to CT. She will be wearing a N95 mask for the trip, but today’s AQI in Maine was good, and CT was a little worse.

It turns out all the rain in the forecast has/will clear up the air in Ottawa so we are going to be able to see the granddaughter’s dance recital, headed that way in the morning.

Left PEI this morning and currently at Republic Provincial Park in Edmunston, NB. Hard to say no to a big rig friendly drive through site with full hookups for $46 US/night.

I remember being in Bay of Fundy national park 50amp full hookup in October a few years ago for $26 per night USD. We had just left a KOA near Bar Harbor that was $110 per night with no sewer and I think it was a 30 amp site....

    That site looks awesome!

Thanks, I’ll have to put that park on the list of places to visit.

Good hiking trails, covered bridges, etc. Greatest tide changes in the world. 50 feet is my memory without looking it up. The fishing boats lay on the sea floor waiting for high tide so they can go out.

I am not sure if this is on your way but is worth a stop if it is.  This one is great in bloody caesars but they have a couple of interesting bottles.

Information I could have used yesterday. 😎 We are already 90 north of Waterville and I’m not going backwards for some high falutin’ pickle juice.

If we make back up this way again I’ll check it out.
