Question on search function

Is there any sort of advanced search function? I tried searching posts for a keyword and the results I get are entirely random with respect to post date, relevance, etc. I'm used to being able to sort results by date, limit search to thread titles only, etc.

Thoughts?

There is, and it’s called Google.

Sounds like a joke, but I’m serious.  If you type what you’re looking for into the Google search bar and then add “site:eggheadforum.com” - without the quotes, it will return results from this website.  And they’re generally far more useful than what you get with the forum’s own search tool.
