However, the locale for that whip would leave a lot to be desired...
Surely, protecting the Queen at Buckingham palace wasn't so bad?
Indeed, and little did we know we had only a handful of years before the Carolena were to begin.   I trust you'll be tuned in for the whole Coronation on 6th May?  Many horses and smartly dressed chaps standing still or walking in step to be enjoyed.
Other girls may try to take me away

I had no idea that you Brits were into horse racing like that.  Some friends of ours are having a Kentucky Derby party and we're really looking forward to it.

@Foghorn enjoy the party.  Once you have your top three horses let us know your picks as it is such a challenge with 20 at the post.

Lastly.  Something i learned early on but complete failed at it.  Tell your son, as much as he might hate it. Learn to play golf where the director of public safety or the governor plays.  The who is who of law enforcement is made on the golf course.  I witnessed more promotions made by the suggestion of the governor and or presidential staff on the golf course.
Excellent advice for a military careerist, too.  That I didn't take.

Queen Elizabeth II had a horse here in Kentucky. She came in 1984 to Keeneland to watch a race named in her honor and in 2007 to the Derby
