Purchased a $15 bamboo case from Amazon, and engraved the names of our grandkids on the back for SWMBO. Came out pretty decent for a first attempt:

Still need to get around to engraving the BGE handle.

There's a market for that personalized product.  Great idea and delivery.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

I’d need a 4 (or would it be 5) axis machine to do the side cuts for the buttons.

Sure. Just need to know which model phone she has and what you’d like for a design.

Good ask.  I wondered why he wanted one with your kids' names on it.

But without those extra axis machines… will you have truly lived?

John’s probably confusing a 5 axis mill with a 5 axis sex swing ( or is that 5 input? )

I'm guessing you earned enough points with this sweet gesture, that you could easily swing the " I have no idea how this got here!" defense if/when a new piece of gear should find its way to your doorstep

You can go old school and manually reorient the housing in your tooling jig.  Will take longer and increase your touch labor, but it is possible.  Maybe hire a local kid to move the parts around.

Maybe your purpose in life is only to serve as an example for others? - LPL

I don’t think I have enough Z-axis height on my machine to do that.

One must know which lines are not to be crossed.  Then, buy an IP... which is mostly used to cook rice
