I am tired of getting randomly hosed by web browsers.  Within the past two weeks using Firefox, after completing all the on-line info and ready to close the deal I could not acknowledge "the terms and conditions" even though I could read them.  The check box was missing.
So I shifted to Chrome to complete the deal.  I had "fired" Chrome a few weeks prior for a similar situation.
Critically, I can access the forum fine with either when it is up.
Thoughts/inputs?

This sort of thing is always going to be a bit of a moving target. Good to have a few browsers installed for those times when various websites present problems.
If I remember correctly you are on an iMac - do you not ever use Safari?

Correct with the iMac and Safari is the third in line.  I fired it a few years ago...

    Phone or computer?

I have Safari, Firefox and DuckDuckGo browsers on my iphone and jump around, but Safari for this forum.  On my windows laptop I have MS Edge, Chrome and I think Firefox. Mostly use Chrome as primary there, the other two if something's not working.

All issues with Mac desktop as I don't do much iphone only transactions.  Perhaps I should open up all the selected restrictions I have on the respective browsers.

The check box won’t appear in some cases until you scroll through the hundred or so pages of the terms and conditions.

that said, depends on the platform.  Safari and my iPhone, Firefox on windows and Firefox and chrome on my MBP.

    really doesn’t matter nowadays

I'd been using Firefox until about 10 years ago, started using Safari and have had no issues, except it warns me that farcebook uses extensive resources (macbook gets hot) and I try to limit my time there anymore (that's farcebook, not Safari).
Getting an ad-blocker, and then a Safari extension called Vinegar (which kills video commercials on EweTube), just made Safari a no-brainer for me.
I don't surf on my phone, just my Macs.

The camera on your Mac follows your eyes as evidence that you actually read the T&C.  It also checks your scroll rate.  The checkbox will only become visible after you actually read all the text.  Welcome to the future.

My cars are too old.  Only have mirrors.  My wife won't let me remove hers.

No fancy doorbell, but I did leave the cameras in my security cameras and in the DSLR.

I usually use Firefox, but also have Crome and Safari on the phone.  We have Firefox, Chrome, and Edge on the laptop; I usually use Firefox and SWMBO uses Chrome, that way we don’t have to sign in and out of common sites (primarily GMail and our daughter’s school’s parent portal).  Use Edge and Chrome on the work laptop.

@lousubcap  😂🤣 Was it a good read?  On a serious note, some installers require that you scroll to the very bottom of the T&C and some others have a timer before they show the “agree” button.

@paqman I am quite sure I overkilled any reasonable criteria given the number of scrolls and the requisite language rant while searching for the friggin check box.  So fired the browser and had no issues with the replacement.  Just a true first world irritant problem.
