Ribs on XL

I need to smoke 7 racks of ribs for a church retreat. They all need to be done at the same time. What’s the best way to achieve this on the XL?

Stack vertically on their side. You can use skewers and pin them together while keeping space between them. You’ll need to rotate them occasionally.

You can fit 5 on an Xl with ease. Second grate lifted would get you 2 more up top. Maybe a 4-3 combination.

Yeah, 5 on bottom isn't an issue, then you can put a raised grill like this in to get another 2 or 3 above.

I use the napoleon rib rack in my smoker and I like it, maybe you could buy 2 of them and cook 12 racks at once? Not sure if it'll fit on the top shelf for you.

Another option is the rib/roast rack. Mine for my XL holds 5 slabs. No upper deck needed
