Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

  • Reminds me that the latest season of F1 on Netflix just dropped.  Always worth a watch.

Tried buying tickets for Montreal since it roughly 8 hours away. Cost is around 2k a person so I'll have to wait until next year and buy everything sooner/cheaper. :(

The open wheel racing and skill sets from drivers (dang) to the teams are off the charts, impressive does not do it justice.
But the $$ thrown at this sport is unmatched for the teams and sponsors involved.

I tried buying tickets within an hour of the public on-sale time.  By the time I made it to the front of the line, after being in que for a few hours, every grandstand was sold out.

Yep- it is a crap-shoot and big $$.  I'm sure brokers grabbed quite a lot so you may see something on the secondary market and reasonable if you can wait til dang near race weekend.

Pretty benign race.  Next one in two weeks at Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.  Details will be in a separate thread as the race gets closer.

Pretty bad race for Ferrari and McLaren.  Nice to see Alonso on the podium.

Not the most exciting race but Alonso's battle for P3 was fun to watch!
