Agree, I do them 350 Indirect and then maybe crank them up a bit to get the bacon crisped up. You can run them direct, but I usually end up losing some of my filling when I do that.

I go much lower. The temps at 250-275 take way longer but they slow down the rendering and shrinkage of the bacon. Results in much better intact end product and uniform appearance. Just like cooking bacon on the stovetop o4 in the oven. Hotter the pan, the worse the results. Thank me later.

My experience-at 350*F (indirect) the ABT's will likely take 45-55 minutes to get crispy.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
