OT - Best Jellybeans?
GrateEggspectations
Posts: 10,132
A certain someone in my life loves jelly beans. She used to get Jelly Belly brand at a local Costco. Recently, the Costco stopped carrying them, and they’re not easily found anywhere else around us - according to her, at least.
Any thoughts on something available locally, @paqman?
Does anyone have any recommendations for another good jelly bean I could consider?

I have a simple palate. Brach's is my favorite.

What if you slice an orange jelly bean in half, then combine it with half of a banana flavored one? Or would it make your pee smell like soap?

No sorry, I don’t remember any store specifically but that’s not something that I look for. SWMBO says Rexall but I wouldn’t bet on that…____________________Entrepreneurs are simply those who understand that there is little difference between obstacle and opportunity and are able to turn both to their advantage. •Niccolo Machiavelli

Agree on the starburst recommendation.Also, it is pretty easy to find Jelly Belly packs at Targets stateside, don’t know if that is true in the GWN or if one is close to you.

Your solution is great. I wouldn’t have even thought to look at Jelly Belly’s locator. The stores you listed are even those closest to me. Thanks for that. -
I just asked ChatGPT, the dataset is from 2021 so the answer may not be accurate…
Bulk Barn may be a good idea too, maybe do as the AI says and give a call ahead unless you need something else there.

FWIW, they also had Haribo Goldbears (the original gummy bears from Germany). They used to only be available on special orders with ridiculous shipping charges but I am starting to see them in random convenience stores now. They have more bite than commonly available gummy bears but they taste much better!

I prefer classic flavored jelly beans, especially the black ones! Jelly Belly has some weird flavors...

@paqman
Thanks for letting me know. I don’t live that far from the Business Centre and am there every few weeks, but I had been looking and hadn’t seen them in months.I told her about this and she said “we better stock up”. -
