OT - Best Jellybeans?

A certain someone in my life loves jelly beans. She used to get Jelly Belly brand at a local Costco. Recently, the Costco stopped carrying them, and they’re not easily found anywhere else around us - according to her, at least. 

Does anyone have any recommendations for another good jelly bean I could consider?

Any thoughts on something available locally, @paqman?

No sorry, I don’t remember any store specifically but that’s not something that I look for.  SWMBO says Rexall but I wouldn’t bet on that…

Agree on the starburst recommendation.  

Also, it is pretty easy to find Jelly Belly packs at Targets stateside, don’t know if that is true in the GWN or if one is close to you.

Your solution is great. I wouldn’t have even thought to look at Jelly Belly’s locator. The stores you listed are even those closest to me. Thanks for that.

I just asked ChatGPT, the dataset is from 2021 so the answer may not be accurate…

Bulk Barn may be a good idea too, maybe do as the AI says and give a call ahead unless you need something else there.

I remember that - though I thought that it was her son who did that or maybe she did it and gave him the money for college. BTW I wonder how she is. I met her and her photographer husband at an eggfest in Oswego, IL. Interesting and VERY SMART lady! She managed to flip the table on a former employer who was cheating her and created a company which gathers new car buyers' info and then sells it to insurance companies, after market product sellers and many others.

I like the bumpy jelly beans.  I think they are Nerds brand.

Was out and about running errands in the area and hit up the Bulk Barn at Trainyards. 3lbs and then some. 

Made her day. (She asked me not to let her eat them too fast.)

FWIW, they also had Haribo Goldbears (the original gummy bears from Germany).  They used to only be available on special orders with ridiculous shipping charges but I am starting to see them in random convenience stores now.  They have more bite than commonly available gummy bears but they taste much better!

I prefer classic flavored jelly beans, especially the black ones!  Jelly Belly has some weird flavors...

Thanks for letting me know. I don’t live that far from the Business Centre and am there every few weeks, but I had been looking and hadn’t seen them in months. 

I told her about this and she said “we better stock up”.

Haribo are the only gummy bears worth having.
