    Recipe: Pickle Dip

    INGREDIENTS:

    12oz your favorite pickles, diced
    1/2 cup celery, diced
1/2 block (1 cup) cream cheese softened
    3/4 cup duke's mayonnaise
    1/2 cup sour cream
    6 Tablespoons fresh chopped dill
    5 Tablespoons fresh chopped chives
    2 Tablespoons ranch powder
    1/2 lemon juice
french's crispy onions or garlic (for topping)

    DIRECTIONS:

    1. combine cream cheese, mayonnaise, & sour cream together.
    2. fold in remaining ingredients
    3. top with crispy onions or garlic
    4. serve with your favorite potato chips (we recommend gold'n krisp)

    I multiplied by 9/5 and subtracted 32.

I like pickle juice more than I like pickles, but I think I could get behind this.

  • For some reason, I was expecting a deep fried pickle to make an appearance, but in reading the recipe, I am not disappointed. Thanks for sharing.

I always save my pickle juice, and once I get a full jar, I buy a pkg of cheekun wings, marinate them in the juice overnight, dry them and let them air-dry overnight again, dust with cornstarch/baking powder, and grill.  Yum.
