The match really elevated when France got that first goal.  What a finish.

The selected cities in alphabetical order are:

UNITED STATES: Atlanta, Boston, Dallas, Houston, Kansas City, Los Angeles, Miami, New York/New Jersey, Philadelphia, San Francisco Bay Area and Seattle.

MEXICO: Guadalajara, Mexico City, Monterrey

CANADA: Toronto, Vancouver

 

The 16 cities across the United States, Canada and Mexico will host a total of 48 teams and 80 matches under the new expanded format, marking the largest FIFA World Cup in history.

I’m assuming the timing will go back to the summer.  This one was only held this late in the year because people spontaneously combust in Qatar in July.

Locations:

US have their opening match against Vietnam in Auckland on July 22nd @1300 (Fri. July 21 @2100 EDT).

Aussie rules football field dimensions can easily fit a soccer pitch without removing the posts.
